This week
Read every roundup →What each one contains
- The week in one paragraph. What actually happened, before any detail.
- What matters, and why. The handful of changes with design or cost consequences, grouped by domain.
- What I would act on now. Specific and opinionated — versions, permissions to audit, things to check before Monday.
- A complete inventory. Every announcement in the window, linked, with the counts reconciled.
Why the inventory is there
The inventory exists so the ranking can be trusted. It is generated from the vendors' own feeds — nineteen of them for AWS alone — and every link is machine-checked before the post publishes. Nothing is dropped to make a summary tidier.
That matters because the interesting part of the week is rarely the headline launch. It is usually a limit that moved, a default that changed, or a security bulletin whose real consequence is not what the bulletin says.
